This trip has its ups and downs so far, and this was pretty unbelievable, fun, and amazing. Like one thing that happened was that a nanny asked for money from my uncle while he was drunk (taking advantage I guess) and when my uncle gave like 350$ on accident because he didn't know how much peso value is, then when we got back to the house, she tried to run with the money at 1 AM, needless to say that she was fired and questioned the next day. We stayed in a hotel called Bellevue which was really nice and we are always around Metro Manila, but I think we will be going to more places. I still have like another week and a half here :( wish me luck! Anyways, I also bought a bunch of pirates movies from like ghetto stores on the side of the road. It was only 500 Philippine pesos which is like $10 in USD. But there was A LOT of new movies over there and we bought like half of them. I'm starting to feel a little homesick, but we finally got rid of the reason why we are here: My Aunty's wedding and that was like a couple of days ago, which brings me to the question as to why we are even here till New Years.
Highlights of this trip/week: Had a lot of fun this trip and finished having to run errands around here and now we can actually go around doing more fun things and sightseeing. I got to experience more different kinds of food, and different things I didn't know about. Got closer to and met some of my relatives while I am here. Lowlights of this trip/week: Had so much things to do since I got here. I've been sick since like the second day here and I still have heavy coughs. Plus, the stupid nanny that tried to lie to us and ran away, but on a lighter note, we got the money that she didn't spend back.
My lesson of this trip is that you shouldn't bother with what isn't yours in the first place, like that nanny was asking my uncle for 100$, and she was actually getting paid a lot already by my relatives, but she didn't admit to taking anything and then she got caught running away at 1 AM, talk about ungrateful. That was what made part of this trip unbelievable. If you mess with what isn't yours in the first place, then you need to stop and leave it be. Some things just shouldn't be messed with especially in scenarios like this. In addition, doing this could lead to more and more problems and it'll get worse, so just don't bother with things that aren't yours.
I'll post a photo later (I don't have a computer and I can't upload from my phone)
